On my trip to Edinburgh, we travelled by plane and we only took hand luggage as it was only a short trip so we were limited on what we could take beauty wise because of the liquid limits. So I thought I would share some of the beauty items that made the cut.

    Skincare

Starting with skincare I took a mini Clinique take the day off balm to remove any makeup. A Clinique liquid face soap mild to cleanse the skin further and to make sure all my makeup was off and a Clinique anti-blemish solution. The Garnier micellar cleansing water to remove my eye makeup as I’m not a massive fan of using cleansers on my eyes as all the ones I have tried have seemed to of irritated my eyes.

The Pixi Glow Tonic which was actually new for me when I took it away, and I love it already! I’m all about that glow at the moment so anything that’s going to help is the one for me.

The Botanics All Bright eye roll-on is a life saver for my tired eyes, especially after travelling. And to moisturise I took the Origins GinZing Energy boosting moisturiser, this is my go to moisturiser at the moment so this one was a no brainer.

    Foundation, Concealer & Powder..

For foundation I took my trusty Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation. For concealer, I like to use 2 different ones. I like to use the Bobbi Brown Full Cover Concealer for any blemishes or pigmentation still showing through foundation and then I like to use the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer to brighten under my eyes. As for powder, I bought this one in the airport as I had ran out just before leaving for Edinburgh. I got the Maybelline Matte Maker Mattifying powder and it is one of my favourite powders I have used. It’s so good.

    Bronzer, Blusher, Highlighter & Brows..

I took my all time favourite bronzer, the Too Faced sweetheart bronzer. It gives the best most natural warmth with a hint of a glow. For blush I took probably the only blusher I use, Mac’s powder blush in ‘Melba’. As for highlighter, it took me a while to decide but to save space in my hand luggage I chose the Laura Gueller Gilded Honey highlighter as it’s my smallest one haha.

For brows I took my Bobbi Brown eye shadow in ‘Slate’, I prefer to use a powder in my brows at the moment as I find it quick and easy and makes my brows look fuller.

    Eyeshadows, Liner & Mascara..

For eye shadows I decided to take my Z-Palette as it has a range of colours in it and my Mac Burgundy times nine palette so I had a few choices and could do different looks.

The colours in my Z-Palette are:
    – Makeup Geek ‘beaches & cream’
    – Makeup Geek ‘crème brulee’
    – Makeup Geek ‘cocoa bear’
    – Makeup Geek foiled shadow ‘grandstand’
    – Makeup Geek ‘cabin fever’
    – Makeup Geek ‘bitten’
    – Makeup Geek ‘americano’
    – Mac eye shadow ‘quarry’
    – Mac eye shadow ‘blackberry’

I took my Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Liquid Liner in Night Sky sparkle for liner, this is currently my go to when wearing liner. And for mascara I took my Bobbi Brown Eye Opening mascara.

    Lip products..

To prep my lips for any lipstick I took my much loved Best Damn Beauty Lip Mask. For lip liner I took my Max Factor colour elixir lip liner in ’06 mauve moment’ and I took my most used liquid lipsticks, the Too Faced Melted Matte in ‘Cool Girl’ and the Jouer lip crème in ‘Rayanne’.

So these were the beauty products I took with me to Edinburgh, I hope you enjoyed reading! x
