I thought today I would share my skincare routine as the colder months are approaching and with the different seasons your skin has different needs.
To cleanse and remove my makeup I use the Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil. To be completely honest I have only recently started using a cleanser to remove my makeup, I was using the dreaded makeup wipes as I just couldn’t be bothered to use a proper cleanser and I hated the thought of having to use my hands to apply it. I have super oily skin, so to begin with the thought of putting an oil cleanser on my face was horrific but it’s actually not that bad and my skin feels so clean after. To remove it, I like to wipe it off so I use wet cotton pads but you can wash it off at the sink or in the shower too.
After cleansing my face I use the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Tonic, this helps to balance and restore your skin and prepares it for the next steps in your skincare routine. (also it has no alcohol in it so it isn’t going to dry out your skin and make it feel tight)
I then apply the Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Supplement, I use 2 drops into the palm of my hands and then press it into my skin. This helps to even out my skin tone and brightens it.|
Next I apply a tiny amount of the Bobbi Brown Remedies – Skin Clarifier to help control my natural oils and unclog pores. (I only use this one at night as I don’t want to add any more oil under my makeup)
Eye cream – I use the Origins Ginzing Refreshing eye cream and that helps to brighten and depuff under the eyes.
I like to use a light moisturiser as I have oily skin if I use a moisturiser that is too rich it can break me out a bit so to avoid that I have been loving the L’Oreal Hydra Genius Liquid Care for combination skin and this has been working really well.
Occasionally I will use Bobbi Brown’s Vitamin Enriched Face Base in the evening as a bit of a treatment and to give my skin that bit more hydration.
And lastly I use the Best Damn Beauty lip mask to moisturise my lips, this is one of Nicole Guerriero’s beauty products.
That is all for my skincare routine, what are your favourite skincare items? x
