• Highlighter collection..

Highlighters are an essential in my everyday makeup routine. I think it just finishes off any makeup look perfectly, and as I like to wear it everyday I love to try out new ones and have collected a few (well more than a few), and I thought I would share my collection with you.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Glow palette. I would say my favourite in this palette is most probably ‘forever young’.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Gleam Glow kit.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills highlighters are incredible. They’re so pigmented and the texture is so fine, especially the Nicole Guerriero palette, they are so creamy! The thing I love about these palettes as well is that the pans are so big which means they last such a long time. In the Gleam glow kit I love to mix ‘starburst’ and ‘crushed pearl’ together for that extra glow.

Laura Mercier – fall in love face illuminator collection.

Although this Laura Mercier palette was limited edition at Christmas, the shades are sold individually. Top left is ‘indiscretion’, top right is ‘addiction’, bottom left is ‘devotion’ and bottom right is ‘seduction’. My most used out of this palette is devotion, mainly as I have such fair skin the other shades show a bit too much colour rather than just the highlighted effect, but they work so nice as eyeshadow so I still get the use out of them.

Mac cosmetics mineralize skinfinish – soft & gentle.

As most people on Instagram and youtube have raved about, Mac’s soft & gentle highlight is beautiful, it gives such a natural glow without it being too much, but for a more dramatic affect spraying your brush with a setting spray can really make it pop.

Maybelline New York – Master strobing liquid in light/iridescent.

This was actually my first liquid highlight that I had tried, I swatched it in store and couldn’t believe how pigmented it was. You only need the tiniest bit and once its blended onto the cheek bones it gives a really nice illuminated look. I think it would also be nice either under or mixed into foundation for an all over illuminated look.

    Bobbi Brown – Opal glow.

And lastly this Bobbi Brown limited edition highlighter is just amazing! (they have a very similar highlighter to this called ‘Pink Glow’ as this one was in their Christmas collection) Its such a subtle highlighter but when the light hits it, it looks insane! You can really see the pink tone to it but its not too much, it still looks like a natural glow.

So that is my highlighter collection, there are still loads more I would love to get and try and I will probably get more (not that I need anymore haha).

Hope you enjoyed and thank you for reading X
